Description

The Maintenance Co-Op will support the development and implementation of key administrative processes related to machine maintenance. This role focuses on creating user-friendly materials that guide operators through essential maintenance activities.

Expand your technical and professional skills in a real-world setting. Emerson co-ops are given meaningful work support and mentorship from experienced managers and key business leaders.

In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Assist in creating and organizing the operator maintenance checklist.
  • Take and compile photos for maintenance activity guides.
  • Support with drafting and updating maintenance documents.
  • Print laminate and post checklists at the machines.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to ensure effective communication and checklist adherence.
  • Work with operators and technicians to gather feedback.
  • Prepare and organize training materials.
  • Help manage digital files and checklist documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings and support training sessions.
  • Ensure checklist materials are accurate and user-friendly.

For This Role You Will Need:
  • Currently Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in a Technical or Management field
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week during the scheduled semester
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of machine maintenance processes is a plus.

Work Schedule
The typicalwork schedule is 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (with a 30-minute lunch) to mirror the hours of manufacturing operations but can work with the successful candidate to ensure optimal work-life balance.
