Job Description
Wellen Park Golf and Country Club is excited to announce a new career opportunity of Turn Window Attendant for our brand-new Tiki Bar. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing exceptional service to our members and their guests.
Provides food and beverage service to club members and their guests. Strives to provide outstanding service at all times.
Full Time and Part Time available
$12hr automatic 18% gratuity additional gratuity
Essential Job Functions:
- Delivers and promotes prompt courteous and friendly service to all members guests and employees.
- Performs opening duties and sidework as assigned by manager.
- Operates our drive through window for golf carts.
- Promptly answers phone calls and places orders for pick-up in timely fashion
- Answers questions and suggests menu items.
- Prepares members orders
- Assembles food in to-go boxes and bags and ensures all necessary items such as utensils and condiments are included.
- Serves alcoholic beverages assists in cost control and ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management.
- Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
- Advises supervisor/manager of any complaints as soon as they occur.
- Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.
- Studies all menu items and can explain dishes to members and guests upon request or if a special item is being prepared.
- Attends pre-shift line-up meetings before each service shift.
- Attends staff meetings as scheduled by department manager

Education/Certificates/Licenses/Training
Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (varies by state). Must obtain any required local and state licenses or certifications.
Experience/Background/Knowledge
Prior Server experience preferred.
Skills
Ability to communicate effectively with managers and employees in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to perform basic math computations.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop kneel and crouch; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
