Responsibilities Include:
Manage the purchasing process for a designated category of products
Forecast demand and determine optimal order quantities based on trends and sales data
Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements
Monitor market conditions and competitor activity to adjust purchasing strategy
Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee timely replenishment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance logistics and product development
Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Analyze purchasing data and prepare reports for senior management
Ideal Qualifications:
Proven experience as a buyer or purchasing manager preferably in a fast-paced environment
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
Familiarity with procurement software and inventory management systems
