Veterans Engineering (VE) is seeking dedicated MedicalTechnologists to join our interdisciplinary care teams within a high-acuityfederal healthcare setting. This role is vital in supporting laboratorydiagnostics and accurate test results that directly impact the care of ournations veterans.

Location: Jesse Brown VA Medical CenterChicago IL
Schedule: Full-time multiple shifts available(including nights/weekends)
Facility Type: Federal High-Acuity Veteran-Focused
Duration: 6-month base with potential for 4-yearextension
Salary Range: Based on experience specialtyand shift differentials

ResponsibilitiesInclude:
Perform routine and specialized diagnostic testsin chemistry hematology urinalysis microbiology and immunology
Maintain calibrate and troubleshoot laboratoryequipment
Ensure compliance with laboratory safetyprocedures and federal regulations
Interpret and verify lab results for accuracyand timely reporting
Collaborate with clinical teams to providequality patient care

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Medical TechnologyClinical Lab Science or related field
ASCP certification (or eligible) stronglypreferred
Current and unrestricted licensure (ifapplicable)
12 years of recent experience in a hospital orhigh-complexity lab setting
Prior VA or federal experience highly valued
Ability to pass background check and federalcredentialing requirements
