Job Description
Job Title: Wi-Fi QA Engineer (Telecom Domain Experience Required)
Location: Philadelphia PA (Onsite/Hybrid)
Key Qualifications:
5 years of hands-on experience in Wi-Fi QA testing specifically within the Telecom domain.
In-depth knowledge ofWLAN protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be)andsecurity protocols (WPA2 WPA3 802.1X).
Strong understanding ofWi-Fi extenders mesh networks and steering protocols (802.11k 802.11v 802.11r).
Experience collaborating withProduct and Development teamsto define technical requirements and test strategies.
Ability tocharacterize Wi-Fi performancein new products and troubleshoot complex engineering challenges.
Proficiency in reviewingdesign specificationswith a focus on product architecture testability and verification.
Familiarity withWi-Fi test automation frameworksand industry standards (IEEE WFA WBA IETF).
Strong problem-solving skills toidentify debug and drive resolution of product defects.
Experience working withtool development teamsto enhance automation for new test features.
Responsibilities:
Develop and executetest plansto validate Wi-Fi performance reliability and interoperability.
Work closely with engineering teams todefine QA strategiesand ensure product quality.
Analyze test results log defects and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Contribute to theimprovement of QA methodologiesand best practices.
Stay updated withemerging Wi-Fi technologies and telecom industry trends.
Must-Have:
Prior telecom industry experience(service providers networking equipment vendors or related fields).
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills inreal-world Wi-Fi environments.
