Job Description:
- Supervises and coordinates the daily operations of the radiology MRI team.
- Assigns tasks and schedules to team members.
- Monitors and evaluates the performance of the radiology team members. Monitors the quality of MRI images and ensures that they meet the required standards.
- Trains new team members on MRI procedures and safety protocols.
- Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment and orders as needed.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Ensures that the radiology equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care. Ensures compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Education Requirement:
Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology required.
Licensure Requirement:
- Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
Certifications:
- Advanced Certification in MRI required.
- CPR certification required.
Skills:
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience:
- Five years of clinical Radiology experience required.
- Three years of experience with cross-sectional anatomy required.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
