Job Description
Full time Urgent Care Veterinarian - New Opportunity Great Compensation
A well-establishedpartner hospital is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their emergency and overnight veterinary clinic inOFallon MO / St. Louis MO. The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Missouri and have experience in an emergency veterinary setting.
Position Highlights:

- No abdominal surgeries performed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care to animals.
- Perform diagnostic tests and procedures to assess and treat illnesses injuries and emergencies.
- Administer medications and treatments to patients in critical care.
- Consult with clients to discuss diagnosis treatment options and follow-up care.
- Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach.
- Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership to ensure optimal care.
- Manage a varying caseload including surgeries and appointments during open hours.
- Contribute to the growth of support staff through mentorship and participation in the internal LevelUp training program.
Qualifications:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
- Active state license to practice in Missouri (or ability to obtain).
- Experience in emergency medicine is preferred but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client consultations and team collaboration.
