Job Description
Details:
PTS is looking for CNC machinists to join the team at a leading manufacturing facility. The comes with great benefits and a full time schedule.
Schedule: Mon - Friday / 1st Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm)
Compensation: Up to $25/hr

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for production of quality parts/products on various machines such as but not limited to CNC boring mill machines.
- Responsible for set-up operation and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements holding close tolerances and maximum efficiencies.
- Interpretation of drawings manuals specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances sequence of operations and setup requirements.
- Measure and mark dimensions and reference points.
- Adjustment of machines and machine controls to ensure proper production of parts. Reports all machine malfunctions to immediate supervisor.
- Operates a forklift and lifting devices for movement of parts.
- Communicates with supervisor engineers production control quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions.
- Responsible for the enforcement of all Company Health Safety and Environmental rules.
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience operating CNC Equipment in a manufacturing setting
- Fanuc control experience
- Able to perform setups
- Able to interpret drawings and specifications
- Must posses basic math skills
- Knowledge of instruments such as calipers ID & OD Micrometers and depth gauges
