The Project Portfolio & Alliances (PPA) group within Precision Medicine & Biosamples (PMB) is accountable for providing project portfolio and alliance management to the AZ R&D Precision Medicine portfolio; to ensure successful delivery of diagnostic projects for CRO partner management for Human Biological Samples used in clinical trials as well as programme management for key strategic capability build initiatives that bring innovative new approaches to our portfolio. Furthermore this group is responsible for coordinating the development of robust functional investment cases and for the operational management of PMB in line with the AZ business cycle.
The PMB Business Intelligence & Analytics Director is a key leadership role with responsibility for shaping the data/ information management governance and reporting strategy for the Precision Medicne project portfolio. You will develop a comprehensive BI strategy aligned with organisational goals ensuring scalable and innovative solutions to enable information/ knowledge sharing to report achievements share business insights and to aid critical business decision making. You will lead a team of Information/ Business Analysts to optimise data management/ reporting and to drive automation and best practice. You will also collaborate/ influence across the AZ enterprise to integrate data sets from multiple sources to define build and maintain a suite of automated management reports and will drive education and engagement across PMB to ensure optimum uptake and usuage to increase productivity and speed decision making.
