Full Time 3rd Shift Security Officer
Location: Rochester NH
Shift: Monday - Friday 3rd shift 11pm-7am
Rate: $18.20 / hour
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Overnight Security Officer to join our team in Rochester NH. This full-time position involves patrolling the premises monitoring surveillance equipment and ensuring the safety and security of the property and personnel during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility including interior and exterior areas
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems
- Control access to buildings and grounds; verify identification of visitors
- Respond promptly to incidents alarms or emergencies
- Write accurate and detailed incident and daily activity reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety protocols
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to obtain a NH State Guard Card (licensing for security in the State)
- Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Capable of patrolling on foot including stairs
