Job Scope: This position provides a mixture of direct-service to clients and supervision duties. Provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff as they provide 24/7 crisis response and therapeutic services to clients in the community. Facilitate group supervision for Bachelor and Masters level staff as needed. Actively contribute as a team member with on-call crisis response shifts and maintain a caseload for linking clients to long-term services. Option to maintain therapy caseload once established in role. On call-shifts run on a 24/7 basis and include evening weekend and holiday hours. Assist Manager in administrative responsibilities as needed. Administrative Responsibilities - Provide clinical supervision to full-time MHP/QMHP staff and interns as assigned.
- Clear understanding of the program grant and deliverables to support team to understand implement and monitor
- Monitor and oversee day to day activities and operations of the identified Mobile Crisis Team members and Team Lead across 3 shifts.
- Provide ongoing performance evaluation for supervisees building on strengths and identifying ongoing growth/training needs.
- Assure smooth case transfers and consultation between MCR outpatient teams and behavioral health recovery teams.
- Coordinate with Manager to complete schedule ensure coverage and provide ongoing team training
- Coordinate with Manager and admin staff to oversee and evaluate data tracking and reporting.
- Complete case assignment when manager is unable or as assigned.
- Participate with Manager in interviewing hiring and training of new Mobile Crisis Team staff.
- Be available for crisis response consultation outside of scheduled work hours on a rotating on-call schedule (additional stipend provided)
- Maintain a high level of personal and team documentation compliance including timely review and signing of team members documentation.
- Review and sign crisis assessments completed by MHP and non-LPHA staff.
- Participate in scheduled Behavioral Health leadership meetings as needed.
- Coordinate with Manager to lead team meetings.
Clinical Responsibilities - Provide a full range of crisis screening and support services to a caseload of clients and their families. These services will include the following:
- Crisis screenings completed in a two-person team to assess current needs and determine level of risk
- Development of a plan to stabilize a client without the use of hospitalization if hospitalization is not necessary
- Case management services to reduce likelihood of future crisis
- Linkage back to care provider
- Linkage to community resources as needed
- Ongoing support to help a client maintain access to established services
- Post-hospitalization services which may include gathering information for a mental health assessment and individualized treatment plan
- Participate as a responsible crisis team member to maintain continuous on-call coverage and to accomplish other team tasks goals and responsibilities
- Manage a caseload that reflects the CCS MCR program demands
- Provide timely and accurate assessments of incoming crisis calls with clinically appropriate dispositions
- Determine the need for additional services based on the assessment and facilitate linkage
- Participate in consultation as needed with other agency professionals or with paid agency consultants
Minimum Position Requirements - Masters Degree from an accredited College or University in Social Work Psychology Counseling or closely related discipline
- LCSW or LCPC Licensure
- At least 3 years experience providing clinical treatment and demonstrated experience providing crisis intervention services
- Preferred 1 years supervisory experience
- Valid drivers license proof of insurance and reliable transportation required
- IM-CANS certified or obtain within 90 days
- Basic technology smartphone and computer proficiency; knowledge of web-based team communication tools (ex. Microsoft Teams) and Word Excel and internet skills.
Schedule - Full Time Exempt 37.5 hour work week
- Majority of schedule during workweek business hours and must be prepared to work a flexible schedule in response to the needs of the target population served including evenings and/or weekends. Team provides services 24/7/365 days per week
- Participate in 24/7 on-call coverage (additional stipend)
