Job Description:

As such Direct Medics are working in partnership with an NHS Trust to find an experienced and dedicated Practitioner Psychologist who will be based in Belfast providing a comprehensive specialist Maternity Psychological Service.

The successful applicant will join our growing team in providing a high quality specialist psychology service to patients and families at the same time as offering advice and consultation on patients psychological care to our multidisciplinary colleagues. The successful candidate may have opportunities to contribute to research audit policy and service development.

Locum roles with Direct Medics are a great way of enhancing your earning potential as well as working with some of the most professional and successful Psychology teams in the country. This role is ideally full time (Monday-Friday) and will be for a one year duration initially.

Requirements:

• Honours degree in Psychology conferring Eligibility for Chartered Membership of BPS.
• Postgraduate Doctorate accredited by the BPS
• Registered with HCPC as Qualified Practitioner Psychologist
• Significant post-qualification experience working as a Practitioner Psychologist
• Specialist knowledge of or interest in working with perinatal mental health and maternity-related presentations.
• Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
• Right to live and work in the UK/Ireland
