Overview
As a Web Developer you will play a pivotal role in the organization by creating and maintaining engaging user-friendly websites that meet our clients needs. Your expertise will not only enhance the online presence of our brand but also drive user engagement and ensure seamless navigation. You will collaborate with a team of designers project managers and other developers ensuring that the technical aspects of the project align with the overall goal of creating an outstanding user experience. Given the rapid evolution of technology your ability to stay updated with industry trends and new tools will be critical. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical skill making it essential for the growth and success of our digital footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features based on client specifications.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with teammates to define design and ship new features.
- Maintain and improve website performance and functionality.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards.
- Implement security and data protection protocols.
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
- Test and debug applications to ensure quality and performance.
- Create responsive designs for mobile and tablet devices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Work with the marketing team to integrate SEO best practices.
- Document development processes and project statuses.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving user issues.
- Communicate with clients to understand their requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Web Developer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks like React Angular or Vue.
- Familiarity with server-side languages such as Python or PHP.
- Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL or MongoDB.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Familiarity with tools such as Webpack Gulp or Grunt.
- Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Portfolio of previous web development projects strongly preferred.
