Overview
The Cardiologist DM DNB Consultant plays a critical role in providing specialized healthcare services in the field of cardiology at our esteemed facility in Hassan Karnataka. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with cardiovascular conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
- Perform diagnostic tests including EKGs echocardiograms and stress tests.
- Interpret diagnostic results and determine the appropriate course of action.
- Manage acute and chronic heart conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Perform interventional procedures when necessary such as catheterizations.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other specialists for surgical interventions.
- Educate patients and their families on heart health treatment options and medications.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient interactions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case discussions.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology through continuous education.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.
- Oversee the training and mentorship of junior medical staff and fellows.
- Participate in research projects and clinical trials related to cardiovascular health.
- Provide on-call support and be available for emergency consultations.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
- DM (Doctor of Medicine) or DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in Cardiology.
- State Medical Council registration and eligibility to practice medicine in Karnataka.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in cardiology.
- Strong foundation in advanced cardiovascular diagnostics and interventional techniques.
- Proven skills in patient management and clinical decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills with a patient-centric attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
