Job Description

Overview
The Radiologist MD DNB DMRD Consultant plays a crucial role in the healthcare system of Bhiwani Haryana providing expert diagnostic imaging services to patients. This position requires a highly skilled professional who utilizes imaging techniques such as X-rays CT scans MRIs and ultrasound to diagnose medical conditions with accuracy. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays CT scans MRIs and ultrasounds.
  • Review and interpret imaging results ensuring accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with medical teams to discuss findings and contribute to patient treatment plans.
  • Utilize advanced imaging technology and protocols to enhance diagnostic accuracy.
  • Conduct interventional radiology procedures when necessary.
  • Educate patients about imaging procedures ensuring they understand the processes and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and documentation.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in radiology and imaging technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols for imaging services.
  • Supervise and mentor junior radiologists and technologists.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.
  • Contribute to academic research and present findings as needed.
  • Assist in the development of department protocols and policies for quality assurance.
  • Provide diagnostic radiology consultations to other medical specialists.
Required Qualifications
  • Medical Degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
  • Postgraduate Degree in Radiology (DNB DMRD) from an accredited program.
  • Board certification in radiology.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a clinical radiology setting.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and performing diagnostic imaging.
  • Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures.
  • Strong understanding of radiology standards protocols and regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability for analytical and critical thinking.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and imaging software.
  • Active participation in continuing medical education (CME).
  • Familiarity with quality assurance practices in radiology.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
