Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3D Printing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced 3D printers such as Saturn Ultra Pro or Jupiter and designing compatible files using 3D design software. This role requires a blend of technical expertise creativity and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality 3D-printed products.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain 3D printers including Saturn Ultra Pro and Jupiter models ensuring optimal performance and output quality.
Prepare calibrate and troubleshoot 3D printers for various production tasks.
Convert 3D models into compatible file formats (e.g. STL OBJ) suitable for 3D printing.
Perform slicing operations using appropriate slicing software ensuring efficient use of material and print time.
Conduct post-processing tasks including cleaning curing or finishing printed objects as required.
Maintain a log of daily operations including printer usage maintenance schedules and material consumption.
Collaborate with the design and production teams to understand project requirements and deliver precision-engineered outputs.
Research and recommend advancements in 3D printing technologies tools and techniques to improve production efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Design or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in operating and maintaining 3D printers particularly Saturn Ultra Pro and Jupiter.
Proficiency in 3D design software such as Blender SolidWorks AutoCAD or equivalent.
Strong understating of 3D printing processes materials and post-processing techniques.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with 3D printers effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
