Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Principal Cloud Architect you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable secure and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions. You will play a key role in cloud migration strategies optimizing deployment processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role requires hands-on expertise in AWS automation DevOps and cloud security.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture & Migration
- Develop and implement cloud infrastructure strategy considering scalability cost and security.
- Design and execute cloud migration plans for legacy applications transforming monolithic architectures into microservices.
- Optimize cloud deployment using AWS ECS AWS Copilot Kubernetes Terraform and Docker.
- Implement hybrid cloud solutions across AWS Azure and GCP.
Infrastructure & Security
- Architect high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for mission-critical applications.
- Implement network and firewall security measures ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Manage cloud security best practices including IAM policies WAF GuardDuty and CloudWatch monitoring.
DevOps & Automation
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins GitLab Terraform and Ansible to streamline deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning monitoring and scaling to enhance system performance.
- Set up proactive monitoring with Datadog Prometheus and AWS CloudWatch for real-time alerts.
Database & Application Management
- Design configure and manage relational (MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle) and non-relational (MongoDB DynamoDB Redshift) databases.
- Optimize web/application servers (Apache Nginx IIS) for performance and security.
- Implement containerized solutions using OpenShift Docker and Kubernetes for efficient application deployment.

- Cloud Platforms: AWS (ECS VPC Lambda RDS CloudWatch WAF) Azure GCP
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform AWS CloudFormation Ansible
- DevOps Tools: Jenkins GitOps JFrog Nexus SonarQube
- Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes Docker OpenShift
- Database Management: MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB Redshift ElasticSearch Redis
- Security & Compliance: IAM GuardDuty WAF Disaster Recovery Network Security
- Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Prometheus Datadog Grafana New Relic
Preferred Experience:
- Led end-to-end cloud migration projects for enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience in cost optimization and cloud resource scaling.
- Worked in e-commerce digital consulting or product-based companies like Deloitte Digital IBM Digital Capgemini etc.
- Experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure for 400 member teams.
