Job Description
Job Title: Physician – Secure Facility Full-Time On-Site
Location: Leavenworth KS
Compensation: $225000 – $300000 base bonus potential full relocation
Schedule: Full-time on-site minimal call

Overview:
A secure government facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician to provide direct patient care and clinical oversight in a structured multidisciplinary environment. This full-time on-site position focuses on serving an adult population with complex medical needs.
Responsibilities:

Deliver routine and urgent medical care diagnostics and treatment

Lead clinical care planning with nursing and support staff
-
Conduct patient rounds and oversee care protocols
-
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
-
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
-
Support and guide nursing staff on clinical standards
-
Contribute to safety compliance and policy initiatives
-
Monitor patient hospitalizations and ensure continuity of care

Promote health education and preventive care
Requirements:
-
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
-
Board Certified (preferred) or Board Eligible
-
Active Kansas medical license or willingness to obtain
-
Valid driver’s license
-
Experience in correctional health emergency medicine public health or underserved populations preferred

Must be able to work on-site in a secure facility housing adult males and females
