Job Description
At Clarifi Staffing Solutions were on the lookout for a compassionate Special Education Instructor with LBS1 certification to join a dynamic educational team for theschool year. In this full-time role you ll empower young learners with exceptional needs helping them reach academic and developmental milestones in a supportive and inclusive environment.
This role requires a collaborative professional who can partner with parents caregivers and staff to create comprehensive educational approaches that meet each students distinct challenges. The LBS1 Specialist will design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address the unique learning needs of students.
Collaboration is central to this position. You ll work closely with families paraprofessionals therapists and fellow educators to develop cohesive support systems that promote student growth across cognitive social emotional and physical domains. Participation in IEP meetings and consistent communication with caregivers will ensure that everyone involved is aligned on student progress and objectives. Utilizing play-based learning and evidence-based practices you ll help each child reach important developmental milestones while cultivating a positive and inclusive learning space.
Requirements
Candidates should have a solid background working as a Special Education Teacher or in a closely related role with specific experience supporting early childhood caseloads. A bachelor s degree from an accredited institution is required and a master s degree is highly valued. Applicants must also hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement please note that alternative certifications are not being accepted for this position.
