Job Description
Job Objective:
Provide leadership and oversight to ensure the implementation and compliance of all technology-related standards and frameworks as outlined in the CBN IT Standard Blueprint and other relevant regulatory requirements.
Lead the development and management of IT policies and process standards ensuring effective control mechanisms and fostering awareness across the organization.
Drive certification and adherence to all applicable IT standards and frameworks supporting enhanced customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
Maintain and regularly update a centralized repository of IT policies procedures standards and reference materials.
Stay informed on relevant IT regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
Communicate new and updated policies effectively providing channels for feedback and clarification within the IT community.
Participate in the review and development of technology-related policies monitor adherence and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Lead policy compliance audits report findings and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective measures.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to define and select appropriate tools that support IT process management.
Conduct at least one internal compliance assessment of IT policies and standards annually.
Organize and deliver bi-annual policy awareness sessions to ensure broad understanding and compliance.
Oversee the implementation of regulatory IT standards across the organization.
Ensure IT processes align with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in IT governance policy management or compliance roles.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks related to IT including CBN IT standards and industry best practices.
Experience in developing and managing IT policies procedures and control frameworks.
Proven ability to conduct compliance audits and manage remediation efforts.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to lead and influence teams fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with IT process management tools and compliance tracking systems is an advantage.
