Marketing Content Intern Golf VX
Location: In-Office (Northbrook HQ) * please only apply if able to come in to the office in-person
Duration: June 16 Augustweeks)
Hours: Flexible 20-40 hrs/week

Pay: $16/hr
Potential Path: Opportunity for full-time or part-time employment after internship

About the Role

As a Marketing Content Intern at Golf VX youll play a hands-on role in producing creative content across channels to grow the Golf VX brand and support our indoor golf venues and franchise network. From photo and video shoots to writing editing and publishing across web and social platforms youll help shape our visual identity and voice. This role blends creativity with executionperfect for someone who can both ideate and deliver. Youll gain portfolio-worthy work mentorship from our marketing team and direct input into campaigns and brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Photography & Videography

  • Plan and photo and video content across venues products and brand campaigns

  • Organize and edit content using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or Lightroom

  • Assist in scripting storyboarding and producing content for ads reels and promotional videos

Graphic Design & Branding

  • Create branded visuals graphics and templates for use across digital platforms

  • Design email headers social post layouts ads flyers and promotional materials

  • Maintain consistency in visual identity across all content

Copywriting & Content Writing

  • Write short-form and long-form content including captions blog posts video scripts and emails

  • Help shape Golf VXs brand voice across multiple content types

  • Collaborate on campaign concepts and storytelling angles

Content Planning & Strategy

  • Build and maintain a content calendar across social blog email and video

  • Assist with planning seasonal campaigns product launches and event coverage

  • Track content performance and suggest optimizations based on data

Social Media Management

  • Publish and schedule posts across Instagram LinkedIn TikTok and YouTube

  • Support community engagement and follower interactions

  • Analyze content performance and experiment with content formats for growth

Website & Email Content Support

  • Assist in updating pages and media on WordPress (Bricks Builder)

  • Contribute to email campaign design writing and image assets

  • Support content optimization for SEO across blog and landing pages

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Creative and comfortable behind the camera and keyboard

  • Organized self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects at once

  • Strong understanding of brand aesthetics visual storytelling and content trends

  • Passion for golf sports or lifestyle brands is a big plus

Preferred Skills (Not Required But Nice to Have):

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator Premiere Lightroom) or Canva

  • Video editing software (Final Cut Premiere CapCut etc.

  • WordPress or content management systems

  • Experience with social platforms and scheduling tools (e.g. Later Buffer)

  • Copywriting or journalism background
