Job Overview:
We are looking for technicians / mechanics who are energetic upbeat and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing whats right for our guests.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guests
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete full accurate and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety cleanliness and organization
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns
- Work together with other Technicians to solve problems meet deadlines and deliver distinguished results
- Ability to remove and replace engines and/or transmissions
- Diagnostic skills for common items (system charging test coolant pressure test block test AC evac and recharge--as well as AC diag heating diag etc)
- Electrical diagnosis of vehicle systems over a range of all makes and models
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
- 5 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- ASE Certifications preferred or a plan to achieve
- MAC609 certification preferred we will pay for you to test to get it
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Ability to remove and replace engines and/or transmissions
- Meet or exceed hourly goals ability to flag 40 hours out of 1 bay
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicles needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
