AECOM is actively seeking an experienced and licensed Senior Landscape Architect with experience leading complex landscape architecture projects to join our growing Urbanism Planning (UP) studio in the Denver CO office. The Rocky Mountain Region UP studio is an integral component of the overall Buildings Places practice and is focused on leading or supporting a mix of public and private sector projects including federal state municipal institutional and transportation/transit related infrastructure.

AECOMs Buildings Places (BP) practice includes architecture interiors building and system engineering urbanism and planning landscape architecture strategy economics technology solutions asset advisory and cost and program management. This team assists our clients from strategy through project realization creating positive outcomes for those who occupy and use the buildings and environments we help to create. Our Rocky Mountain Region BP practice focuses on the Commercial/Corporate Science and Technology Higher Education and Federal Government market sectors. We look to combine beauty sustainability resiliency and innovation in our projects and believe these values can be instilled in any project regardless of size or budget.
Senior Landscape Architect
We are seeking a high-performing individual with expertise in managing projects staff and teams with demonstrated technical ability in all aspects of site design and landscape architecture including successfully managing projects from conceptual design through completion of construction documents and construction phase services. The candidate should be efficient in production of design graphics construction drawings and design and planning related presentations and reports. The position provides exposure to all aspects and phases of the firms planning and landscape architectural practice including communicating with internal and external clients.
A strong focus on studio culture and collaboration is an important aspect of our practice. You must be self-motivated with the desire and ability to lead others in the design and technical documentation process as well as passionate about engaging and retaining clients. You will need to embrace the opportunity to mentor less-experienced staff and contribute to building a strong studio-based culture.
The ideal candidate also understands and has a proven track record in driving business fundamentals that include business development client management financial oversight quality control project delivery and has the ability to convey innovative design thinking and solutions.
