About SBS Digital Lending With the agility of a fintech and support of the group SBS designs tech solutions for financial institutions worldwide to provide services accessible to each of us everywhere anytime. For more than 20 years we have strived to support financial institutions digital transformation leveraging our inherited domain expertise and the latest technologies. Key figures 1500 financial institutions run our platform 420 mn annual revenue in 2020 In 2024 SBS creates its Digital Lending business unit with the vision to allow borrowers to benefit from a seamless financing experience via the deployment of a cost effective SaaS end-to-end lending solution for financial institutions. Joining SBS Digital Lending is taking part in an entrepreneurial journey whilst joining a solid group. It is the occasion to instil an agile and dynamic mindset whilst leveraging years of experience in the SaaS and financing markets.
We think reinventing financing is a massive tech challenge thats why we built Digital Lending as a tech and data-driven startup. Today 15 developers are Senior Backend developer 1 working on building the best financing experience ever made very closely to the Product team. We love TypeScript at SBS Digital Lending. Thats why every part of our stack is based on JS: we use and MongoDB on the back-end and on the web. The platform runs on AWS deployed using Terraform and GitHub Actions. We believe in ownership and mentoring. By following good code practices and through code review we make sure to deliver quality code and allow developers to grow their skills. We follow the Scrum methodology: the Tech and Product teams are split in 3 squads.
Qualifications :
- You have at least 4 years of experience as a developer. Youve built a backend using an OOP or functional programming language.
- Youre fluent in JavaScript / TypeScript or eager to learn it You have a strong experience with a DBMS (SQL or NoSQL)
- You master code quality best practices (tests CI/CD ) Senior Backend developer 2
- Youre curious and eager to extend your technical skills
- You can speak and work in English.
- Write technical specifications for the features defined with the Product team.
- Write clean / TypeScript code with related tests.
- Help build a scalable infrastructure on AWS Build a robust API consumed by our Web / mobile apps and our SaaS clients.
- Review code from other developers Improve our product technical stack and processes.
- Help junior developers grow in the team Design and deliver complex features or architectures.
