Job Description
- Responsible for performing HPLC SEC-MALS UV-VIS and absorbance-based biochemical assays and applying these methods to a broad range of biotherapeutics for early and late-stage products and/or characterization of biologicals including; proteins antibodies peptides and conjugates.
- Act as team leader and organize activities in the area assigned
- Train and lead others and efficiently prioritize and manage their time
- Coordinate training for employees within group and ensure records are up to date
- Assist in the hiring process and on-boarding of new employees
- Perform performance appraisals and coaching for direct reports
- Work as a liaison between clients supervisors and lab to report progress needs and delays
- Understand and report metrics monthly quarterly and yearly
- Identify risks to business and recommend process improvements
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Biotechnology Biochemical Engineering Analytical Chemistry Chemical Engineering or other related fields
- 2-4 years of relevant industrial experience
- Previous leadership is preferred
- Strong computer scientific and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team self-motivation adaptability and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
- Experience working in GMP/GLP
- Industrial experience and an understanding of the drug development process
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Chesterfield MO are encouraged to apply.
