Job Description

Danvers Public Schools seeks a Kinergarten Teacher at Thorpe Elementary SchoolReports To: Thorpe School PrincipalRole & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks covering subjects like reading mathematics science and social studies.
Foster social and emotional growth by teaching interpersonal skills empathy and classroom routines.
Assess student progress through observations portfolios and formative assessments to tailor instruction to individual needs.
Maintain classroom management by establishing and enforcing rules that promote a safe and productive learning environment.
Communicate with parents and guardians to provide updates on student development and address any concerns.
