Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and thorough Assistant Manager Finance & Accounting to support our financial operations across domestic sales import of finished goods spares for service and occasional exports. This role involves close coordination with internal teams and external consultants to ensure timely reporting accurate compliance and process integrity. The position is ideal for a hard-working finance professional who is capable of handling pressure managing teams and aligning with business goals in a fast-paced environment.


In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Supervise day-to-day finance and accounting transactions including sales purchases inventory and service billing.
  • Ensure accurate accounting of import purchases including freight duty and landing cost computations.
  • Monitor and manage stock movement and valuation for finished goods and service-related spares.
  • Manage customer billing cash collections debtor ageing and credit control in collaboration with sales and service functions.
  • Liaise with inter-company and intra-company collaborators for timely payment processing receivable follow-ups and force balance reconciliations.
  • Oversee vendor customer bank and intercompany reconciliations in alignment with monthly close timelines.
  • Coordinate with external consultants to ensure timely submission of statutory filings including GST TDS and income tax returns.
  • Prepare and review monthly financials sales reports stock status and ensure timely sharing of financial packs for HFM upload.
  • Support preparation of key management reports including POR Keyline Statements and variance analysis with business recommendations.
  • Handle logistics and customs clearance issues by engaging with logistics teams customs agents and banks for statutory documents.
  • Validate employee reimbursements in line with company policy and ensure timely processing of employee-related payments.
  • Collaborate with HR for monthly payroll input integration and booking of employee-related expenses.
  • Assist in internal and external audits through timely documentation and response to audit queries.
  • Deliver on high-pressure tasks such as month-end closure compliance deadlines and urgent data requirements from leadership.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • CA Inter / Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in a trading import or distribution environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of import documentation indirect taxation and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in Tally ERP and advanced Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise junior team members.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional departments like Sales HR Logistics and external consultants.
