Prime Video Catalog Offers Assembly team is in the critical path of Prime Video streaming customers experience as it manages and serves Offers for titles that govern how the customer can consume the digital content. Offers team powers the Buy box experience on Prime Video. We are responsible for serving internal clients partners operators powering search browse carousels buy/rent/play/download transactions and streaming experience for our customers.
Key job responsibilities
As a member of the team you will spend your time as a hands-on engineer who takes ownership of business/technical problem. You will play a key role in delivering software using a wide range of technologies programming languages and systems. As you build a strong foundation in domain you will have opportunity to explore your own ideas with the reward of seeing your code raise the bar for millions of Amazon customers worldwide including your own family and friends.
You will participate in design reviews with aim of providing feedback to elevate the quality of designs. You will engage in various team ceremonies like code reviews daily standup sprint planning backlog grooming sprint retros operational excellence hand-offs.
You will build large-scale high-performance customer-friendly self-service tools and back-end services using the AWS technologies like Lambda DynamoDB SQS Redshift and S3.
You will actively engage in operational support for your team and ensure that the root causes of operational issues are identified and resolved. You dont settle for the status quo and routinely identify and execute on opportunities to improve your teams operations.

The ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and orally is a key competency as is demonstrable skill as a self-starter. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about delivering consistently great digital media experiences to our customers particularly those who want to grow within a world-class engineering team.
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
