Job Description

Business Analyst Sales & Marketing Systems
Location: Newark NJ Full-Time Onsite or Hybrid

US Citizen or Green Card holders only

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting Sales Marketing and Client Service functions. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with CRM systems business intelligence tools and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for CRM platforms BI reporting and Sales & Marketing systems providing strategic and operational support to business users.

  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) develop and execute test plans and scripts and ensure thorough documentation of test outcomes.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and interpret business requirements ensuring alignment with CRM platform capabilities and business goals.

  • Identify opportunities for process and system improvements by leveraging analytics customer feedback and industry best practices.

  • Support day-to-day production issues manage system/vendor release cycles and maintain clear prioritization of user needs.

  • Analyze large datasets to detect patterns enhance data quality and provide insight for business cases and strategic initiatives.

  • Stay current with market trends and new technologies to drive continuous improvement in systems and processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8 years of business analysis experience ideally within Sales Marketing or Product functions.

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).

  • Deep understanding of Sales and Marketing workflows and related business processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects refine user stories assess risks and coordinate training and implementation of new features or process changes.

  • Working knowledge of SQL relational databases and business intelligence/reporting tools (MS SQL Server Power BI).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to support business needs.

  • Excellent communication skills with experience working across diverse business units and leadership levels.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Visio); experience with Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in Financial Services or Asset Management.

  • Familiarity with Sales and Marketing metrics and strategies.

  • Experience in data science or data analytics.

  • Programming skills (Python) are a plus.

  • BS or MS in Business Administration Information Technology or related field.
