The Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center West Virginias Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center is accepting resumes for an Industrial Maintenance Instructor/Trainer that will be based at MAMC Huntington. Duties: Designing and providing customized training to meet industry demand; assisting with instruction of Advanced Manufacturing Program including skill sets in Industrial Maintenance Process Controls Electronics and Electrical options. Responsible for teaching the installation inspection and maintenance of equipment in a typical manufacturing environment along with basic machine processing concepts. Lead in maintaining a safe and clean facility assuring all safety procedures are followed. Travel will be required and the candidate may split time at classroom locations within the service district. Additional Responsibilities: Duties also include student pre-testing interviews and selection; developing lesson plans; maintaining discipline in the classroom and lab; instructing students on a day-to-day basis; evaluating student performance; and maintaining attendance and test records. Performing preventive maintenance on shop equipment; maintaining inventory of supplies; working with the program Industry Advisory Council to maintain industry standards. Include day-to-day interaction with all partner sites pertinent day-to-day interaction with management intense day-to-day interaction with local and regional customers ensure partner and industry satisfaction lead in developing and implementing appropriate procedures and processes to ensure the latest technologies are available.
