Job Description
Diesel Mechanic
- Must have working knowledge of standard shipyard equipment such as large crawler cranes and boats.
- Applicant must be willing to be on call after normal business hours in case of need of immediate repairs.
- Applicant must be able to pass drug/alcohol screening and physical prior to hiring.
A Shipyard Diesel Mechanic is responsible for performing routine maintenance and inspections on machinery / diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in diesel engines / and overhauling major engine components. Must be able to work with little guidance from a Supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
