Following an exciting service restructure we are seeking a Trainee Auditor to join our new dedicated audit team. This team will workin close collaboration with our established Internal Audit and Investigations teams. Together were building a dynamic forward-thinking service that plays a vital role in supporting not only the Council but also a wide range of valued external clients.
As a Trainee Auditor you will receive guidance and development opportunities to equip you with the knowledge skills and experience needed to:
Deliver a portfolio of audits as part of the Services plan and produce comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations
Support high standards of governance by evaluating and improving risk management.
Collaborate with stakeholders and data specialists to develop innovative ways of working and best practice.
What we are looking for:
A motivated individualwith a minimum of A-level qualifications and a strong desire to build a career in internal audit through structured training and professional development.
A detail-focused and analytical thinkerwho can interpret data solve problems and contribute to audit work that supports good governance and risk management.
A collaborative team playerwho communicates clearly builds positive relationships and is eager to learn from others while contributing to shared goals.
