Two key members of the Studios finance team are leaving at the same time and whilst the recruitment of their replacements is advanced the team is experiencing a short term staff shortage. The successful candidate will provide the below and any other duties to support the normal operations of the Studios Finance team during this period
Support Reporting and FP&A requirements of the Studios division including
- Weekly cash disbursement requests alongside regular cash forecasting (90 day outlooks and 12 month rolling outlooks) with commentary on variances and weekly fluxes
- Oversee completion of month end variance analysis reviewing for completeness challenging assumptions and preparing a divisional summary Performance vs Actuals reporting for senior management review
- Month end journal for centrally controlled items (e.g. Bonus accruals etc)
- Ensure delivery of quarterly deliverables including detailed analytics and KPIs
- Consolidate regular forecast updates and prepare proposed submission for the division to senior management alongside Risk and Opportunities
- Track headcount movements and update salary forecasts accordingly
- Prepare financial materials for SLT reviews
- Adhoc analysis for decision making (e.g. new business RFP support) and support for future process improvements
Person Specification
Knowledge and Experience
Mandatory
- Previous FP&A experience within a global organisation
- Experience leading finance systems projects and re-engineering processes
Desirable
- Passion for Sport
- Good understanding of US GAAP and SOX compliance
- Experience of working in a similar Media or Telco related environment within finance.

Qualifications and Training
Mandatory
- Qualified accountant CIMA/ACCA/CA with 3years Post qualified experience.
