We are seeking an experienced and qualified MOT Tester / Technician to join a well-established independent garage based in Abingdon. About the Role
In this role youll be responsible for carrying out MOT tests (Classes 4 and 7) as well as diagnosing servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles. Youll be expected to work independently and efficiently while maintaining the high standards the garage is known for. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a busy but well-organised environment.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:30 PM
No weekend work required
Annual bonus scheme offered
Must have own tools
Key Duties
Carrying out MOT tests for Classes 4and 7 in accordance with DVSA standards
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and Electrical faults across all vehicles makes and models
Performing servicing and general maintenance
Using diagnostic tools to identify faults accurately
Keeping clear and accurate job records
Maintaining workshop safety and cleanliness
Key Requirements
Valid MOT Testing Licence covering Classes 4 and 7
NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
A minimum of 8 years UK-based experience in the automotive sector
Full UK driving licence
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
