Note:This position requires employees to be on site at the Irvine CA office.
Note:Salary: $90000 - $120000 base with total earnings of $100000 - $150000 including bonuses.
Note:Candidates without workers comp experience may be asked for academic transcripts will be requested

Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a bright and driven Associate Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or an attorney with up to 2 years of experience. Workers compensation experience is not required but candidates must have a genuine interest in this area of law. The ideal candidate will be confident a self-starter and eager to learn and grow within the practice. Key responsibilities include:
- Representing injured workers in workers compensation claims
- Managing a caseload with a focus on settlements and litigation
- Drafting motions petitions and discovery
- Attending hearings and depositions before the WCAB
- Collaborating with medical and vocational experts
- Communicating effectively with clients and keeping them informed
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in California
- 02 years of legal experience preferred
- Strong academic record (transcripts required if no workers comp experience)
- Interest in pursuing a career in workers compensation law
- Workers comp legal assistant experience is a plus
- Confident self-directed and eager to learn
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
