Position Summary
The graduate assistant will work with the director of Project NePTWNE in supporting various project needs. Work is expected to largely focus on the Center for Lake Erie Education and Research ( CLEER ) at the Blasco Library as well as Gannon Greenhouse operations (4th and Myrtle). Communication The student worker will clearly and effectively share information about the proper usage of technology within the center. Critical Thinking The student worker will monitor and respond to needs of visitors to the center based upon situational context and logical analysis. Equity and Inclusion The student worker will work to ensure all people feel welcomed safe and included within the center space. Leadership The student worker will employ their strengths to achieve the overall mission of the center. Professionalism The student worker will recognize their role within the public library and act in the interest of Gannon University and the larger community. Teamwork The student worker will work collaboratively inclusively and effectively with other team members to create a hospitable work environment and achieve the overall mission of the center. Technology The student worker will clearly and effectively share information about the proper usage of technology within the center.
Physical Demands
This position requires minimal physical demands but applicants should be able to safely lift 25 pounds and sit and/or stand for extended periods of time; be able to work in a busy environment
