Role Detail

We are seeking a skilled and driven Events Marketing Advisor to join our national Business Development & Marketing team. Based in Melbourne the 2nd busiest centre for events this dynamic role is responsible for planning and delivering a wide range of high-impact events and sponsorship activations across in-person virtual and hybrid formats.

Reporting to the Senior Events Marketing Manager you will work closely with stakeholders across the firm to support strategic business development initiatives and deliver professional engaging events that enhance our brand and client relationships.

With the opportunity to lead signature events key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and executing a high volume of client-facing and internal events ensuring alignment with strategy and business development goals
  • Managing all aspects of event logistics marketing communications guest lists and reporting
  • Providing on-site and virtual event support ensuring excellence in execution
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and the wider marketing team to deliver events that support revenue growth
  • Managing event budgets
  • Maintaining high standards of brand integrity across all materials
  • Research venues and suppliers and manage external relationships where needed
  • Working collaboratively with the national events team to share insights ideas and capacity.

About You

You will also need:

  • At least 3 years experience delivering end-to-end corporate events in a fast-paced professional environment with a passion for both in-person and virtual formats
  • Solid knowledge of the Melbourne corporate landscape including venues and suppliers
  • Outstanding communication interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Creativity a keen eye for detail and a polished professional presence
  • Strong technical proficiency across Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
  • A collaborative mindset coupled with the ability to work autonomously
  • A curious mindset
  • Some experience managing budgets
  • Flexibility to support early morning evening and occasional weekend events.
