About the Role:
You will serve in a key Finance & Administration leadership role that reports to the Utility Rates & Capital Finance Manager and collaborates across finance leadership to ensure the suite of Finance services are provided with unified and coordinated excellence.

This position serves the critical role of managing a team that coordinates the debt financing and cash management activities of the largest infrastructure agency at King County. WTD manages a complex debt portfolio and plans and executes financing for new capital project expenditures including bond financing and state and federal loan applications. These investments allow the County to keep the regional wastewater system operating meet the needs of a growing service area and comply with substantial regulatory requirements. The successful candidate has a combination of experience that demonstrates technical acumen in banking debt treasury finance modeling and a record of building and leading successful teams.

About the Team:
This position is within WTDs Finance and Administration (F&A) Section which serves the essential role of ensuring that financial resources are in place to fund the Divisions priorities and decision-making is well-informed regarding financial risk optimization trade-offs financial equity and compliance. In managing WTDs large portfolio of financial activities and processes F&A performs numerous functions including rate-setting budget development and oversight capital finance contracting technology services central service administration accounting audit and compliance payroll utility billing and more.
