Gateway Regional School District is looking for a dynamic early childhood/special education teacher. The ideal candidate will be flexible energetic and passionate about early childhood include:Writing and implementing IEPs and progress reportsCreating developmentally appropriate lesson plans for children ages 3-5 years old with varying ability with children with communication disorders Autism and/or other with other preschool teachers therapists and administratorsProviding specialized instruction accommodations and modifications for children with disabilities in an inclusive settingCompleting educational evaluations and preschool screeningsServing as liaison for children on IEPsCommunicating with parents via multiple meansCreating a welcoming loving and language enriched communityMaintaining a well structured classroom implementing behavior management systems as needed Qualifications:MA Certification in Early Childhood Education and/or special educationMasters Degree preferredAt least 2 years experience teaching in a public school preschool preferredCitizenship residency or work visa requiredSEI endorsement preferredExperience or familiarity with writing IEPs and evaluations
