Commercial HVAC Service Maintenance Technician

Location: Phoenix AZ (and surrounding metro)

Compensation:$25-40/hr with company vehicle

Were a growing mechanical services company seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial HVAC Service Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role will focus on servicing diagnosing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems and boilers. If youre detail-oriented safety-conscious and committed to quality wed love to hear from you.

  • Perform routine maintenance diagnostics and repairs on commercial HVAC systems including:

    • Rooftop units (RTUs)

    • Split systems

    • Package units

    • Cooling towers and pumps

    • Fan coils
  • Troubleshoot and service commercial boiler systems (low and high pressure) used for heating and hot water

  • Conduct performance testing and efficiency checks on mechanical systems

  • Document service reports findings and recommendations clearly and accurately

  • Identify worn or failing components and recommend repairs or replacements

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch customers and the parts team to ensure timely service

  • Maintain compliance with all safety regulations codes and internal procedures

  • Participate in emergency or after-hours service rotation as needed

What You Bring

  • 3 years of hands-on HVAC service experience in a commercial setting

  • Experience working with boiler systems on commercial or industrial buildings

  • Ability to diagnose and repair gas-fired appliances piping controls pumps and heat exchangers

  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings wiring diagrams and manufacturer specifications

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Strong time management and troubleshooting abilities

  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

  • EPA Section 608 or Universal Certification preferred but not required

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs climb ladders and work safely in various commercial environments
