Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation seeks to hire a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for our Inpatient Rehabilitation hospital who will embrace our mission to extend Gods care through the ministry of physical mental and spiritual healing.

As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant you will:
Assist in providing rehabilitation services for the patients suffering from physical mental development problems either congenital or accidental surgery etc.
Monitor the patients and understand their health issues and requirements and make sure that they are provided necessary support
Help patients in working through the rehabilitative exercises and treatments as suggested by the occupational therapists
Feed the patients dress them change their beddings and help maintain hygiene
Maintain and order equipments used in the process of treatment and give regular progress report to the doctors
Document the progress report of the patients and make necessary changes in the treatment process as suggested by the doctor

Qualifications include:
High School Diploma or GED required
Associates degree from an accredited COTA program required
Site-specific experience required
Licensed in the State of Maryland
Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Work Schedule:

This position is per diem at a rate of $48/hour.

Per diem schedule commitment is a minimum of 2 weekend days/month plus 2 holidays/year (one of which is a winter holiday)
