Job Summary

CSG Actuarial is hiring a business systems consultant to join our product team. Our organization is solely focused on developing leading-edge technology solutions in a fast- growing company. Your main tasks will include product research requirements analysis documenting processes compliance analysis and performing some user acceptance testing. Successful candidates will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for conducting in-depth research to understand the right way to solve important problems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Research and Development of new technology solutions in the insurance market.

  • Evaluating software capabilities anticipating requirements uncovering areas for improvement and developing and implementing solutions.

  • Leading ongoing reviews of technical capabilities and developing optimization strategies.

  • Maintaining a working-knowledge of company and competitor software solutions.

  • Keeping current on product and compliance trends in the insurance industry.

  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

  • Performing requirements analysis.

  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.

  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.

  • Working closely with clients technicians and managerial staff.

  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.

  • Performing user acceptance testing.

  • Updating implementing and maintaining procedures.

  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.

  • Managing competing resources and priorities.

  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • A bachelors degree in business or related field or relevant experience.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance business analysis with an emphasis on Medicare Advantage.

  • Experience with insurance regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

  • Excellent documentation skills.

  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Experience compiling submitting and responding to regulatory filings.

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word Excel and Outlook.

  • A track record of following through on commitments.

  • Excellent planning organizational and time management skills.

  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
