Salary 35235 - 39513 per annum Permanent Full Time 37 hours per week County Hall Preston
Following an exciting service restructure we are seeking an Auditor to join our dedicated audit team. This team will workin close collaboration with our established Internal Audit and Investigations teams. Together were building a dynamic forward-thinking service that plays a vital role in supporting not only the Council but also a wide range of valued external clients.
As an Auditor you will:
- Deliver a portfolio of audits as part of the Services plan and produce comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations
- Support high standards of governance by evaluating and improving risk management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and data specialists to develop innovative ways of working and best practice.
What we are looking for:
- A detail-oriented and analytical professionalwith experience delivering high-quality insightful audit work.
- A strong communicator and collaboratorwho can engage effectively with stakeholders contribute to audit planning and present findings clearly both in writing and verbally.
- A proactive learner and team playerwho is eager to develop professionally contribute to continuous improvement and support the wider audit team.
