Deliver parts to the assembly line with the use of equipment in a timely manner to insure production does not stop. They must also maintain tidy work areas and follow detailed instructions in order to meet safety and quality requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Must be capable of using a variety of tools and equipment for sustained periods of time
- Must be able to interpret Bills of materials and other verbal and written instructions
- Delivery parts in a timely manner to production
- Work with other members of the assembly process to complete coaches within the allotted time frame.
- Meet and follow all safety and quality requirements
- Identify defective items and dispose of according to company processes
- Ability to problems solve
- And other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Read write comprehend and verbally communicate in English
- Capable of operating any Power Industrial Vehicle (PIV)(Testing Required)
- Attention to detail
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing
- Must be able to lift 75# to waist and 50# to shoulders
- Good hand eye coordination
