Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Primary Location: Phoenix AZ
Setting: Correctional Facility
Pay: $20.00/hour Paid Weekly
Position Overview:
We are currently hiring a reliable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team in a jail/correctional facility setting. This role plays a vital part in supporting the well-being of incarcerated individuals by assisting with medical care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills professional integrity and the ability to maintain safety confidentiality and respect in a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily medical care and support within the scope of CNA practice
Monitor and document vital signs (temperature pulse respiration blood pressure)
Transport or accompany inmates to medical appointments or infirmary care within the facility
Observe and promptly report changes in physical or emotional condition to licensed nursing personnel
Assist in emergency medical responses under the direction of licensed staff
Uphold all safety and security protocols while maintaining professional boundaries
Required Qualifications:
Active CNA license issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing or a Compact State
Primary Source Verification (PSV) completed via the Arizona Board of Nursing:
fit testing for N95 particulate respiratorsValid First Aid Certification
Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a CNA in a clinical or correctional setting
