Job Title: Civil Engineer - Highway/Roadway Design

Location:West Palm Beach FL

Schedule: Hybrid

PTS is looking for a Highway/Roadyway Engineer that is passionate about joining a multidisciplinary engineering firm dedicated to developing superior infrastructure solutions for their community.

Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with surveyors engineers subconsultants and cross-functional teams while mentoring junior staff.
Lead the Florida transportation team managing staffing morale and client satisfaction to ensure profitable operations.
Prepare proposals scopes of work and fee agreements for FDOT and other agencies including subconsultant agreements.
Serve as Project Manager overseeing scope schedule budget and quality from concept to completion.
Lead transportation projects ensuring compliance with DOT standards codes and regulations and serve as Engineer of Record.
Plan schedule and coordinate detailed design phases and present project plans to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

7 years of hands-on experience in transportation design.
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
Professional Engineering license (or ability to obtain within 612 months).
FDOT project experience is required.
Proficiency with Bentley OpenRoads MicroStation 3D corridor modeling and Microsoft Project.
