Responsibilities
Imagine youre a superhero but instead of a cape youve got a stethoscope and some resistance bands. As an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist youre the go-to expert for people who are recovering from injuries surgeries or just dealing with the day-to-day aches and pains of life. Your job Help them get back to feeling awesome one move at a time!
Custom Treatment Plans:
No two bodies are the same! Youll design personalized treatment plans that could involve a mix of stretching strengthening and maybe some magical modalities (were talking ultrasound heat ice you name it). Youll be the mastermind behind a game plan to help your patient crush their recovery.
Therapeutic Exercises and Manual Therapy:
Whether its a knee replacement recovery or a sprained ankle youll lead your patients through exercises and stretches that build strength and flexibility. You might even break out the hands-on techniques like massage and joint mobilizations to help your patient move more freely.
Progress Tracking:
Its all about the gains! Youll keep track of your patients progress making sure theyre improving and adjusting the treatment plan if needed. Youll be the cheerleader they never knew they needed celebrating the little wins along the way.
Patient Coach and Educator:
Youre not just about exercise youll also teach your patients the secrets of injury prevention good posture and how to move with confidence. Theyll leave your sessions not just feeling better but smarter about taking care of their bodies.
Team Player:
Youre in this with the whole healthcare squad. Youll be talking with orthopedic doctors surgeons and other specialists to make sure your patients are getting the best care possible. Communication is key and youll always have your patients back (literally and figuratively!).

Every day is a win when you see your patients getting back to their active lives-whether its running biking or picking up their grandkids. Youll celebrate those successes with them and be ready to help them push past any plateaus with a fresh treatment approach.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
Current or pending state licensure as a Physical Therapist required (New grads are encouraged to apply!)
A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and achieving outstanding outcomes
A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
