Job Description

Assistant Director of Rehab Permanent Role

Location: Waldorf MD 20602
Position Type: Permanent (40 hours/week)
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Summary:

The Assistant Director of Rehab (ADOR) supports the Director of Rehab in managing daily operations of the rehabilitation department. This role includes supervising therapy staff ensuring quality patient care assisting with scheduling documentation compliance and maintaining productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the DOR in managing rehab services and staff (PTA COTA assistants and aides).
  • Provide clinical support and mentorship to therapy team.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal rehab regulations and documentation.
  • Help coordinate patient care plans and interdisciplinary communication.
  • Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks.
  • Step in as needed to provide direct patient care.

Requirements:

  • Active license in PTA COTA - (MD).
  • 2 years of clinical rehab experience (SNF). Cannot take new SNF
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational communication and team-building skills.
