Job Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-week travel/contract assignment in Easton PA 18045. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply.
Job Details:
- Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $1190 - $1295
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide direct patient care through therapeutic exercises manual therapy techniques and the use of modalities such as ultrasound electrical stimulation and traction.
- Monitor and document patient progress including response to treatment and any changes in condition.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs mobility techniques and injury prevention strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility policies while maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists doctors nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and documentation as per facility guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
- Experience in hospitals outpatient clinics skilled nursing facilities or home health settings is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adjust treatment plans as needed.
Education License & Certification Requirements:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
- Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (required).
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Additional certifications in rehabilitation techniques or specialty therapy areas.
