Senior Tester E-Commerce - Utrecht

Are you an experienced IT tester who does not shy away from complex challenges within a dynamic organization Have you mentored or managed a team within a testing environment
You will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in improving our e-commerce CRM and marketing systems working for a global Retailer. As a Senior Tester within the Online Business team you are the expert in functional testing as well the one who solves technical puzzles analyzes risks and has a keen eye for bugs before they make an impact. You will also act as a mentor to other junior staff and provide guidance on the growth of the overall team. In addition you make an important contribution to the test automation by providing input and you help triage the bugs found to arrive at efficient solutions. You will work with advanced systems such as Hybris Oracle Siebel CRM Adobe Campaign and other business critical applications. You will also lead efforts to continuously improve the testing process and provide reliable and user-friendly solutions.
Responsibilities
- Performing functional and integration tests and analysing risks to determine the appropriate testing approach.
- Writing the test approach and test scripts for a project.
- Estimating the impact of bugs found.
- Monitoring the progress and follow-up of outstanding issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Actively contribute to test automation by providing input to the automation team for test scripts.
- Supervising triage processes of found bugs through test automation.
- Improve work instructions and give feedback to the Business Analysts or Functional Manager.
Requirements
- You have a completed college education and a strong affinity with IT and E-commerce.
- You have several years of demonstrable work experience in software testing and knowledge of tools and methodologies.
- You are analytical pragmatic and have excellent communication skills.
- You have a proactive work attitude and like to think along about process improvements.
